Unique Ideas for Senior Portraits

I was excited to have my senior portraits done. After all, these would pictures my mother would hang in her home for years to come and these pictures would help commemorate a huge accomplishment in my life. However, after meeting with a few photographers, my excitement faded. Many of the photographers offered up pictures and poses that have been repeated by other seniors over the past decade. I wanted something unique, and I was having a hard time finding it. After a lot of research, I finally came up with unique ideas for senior portraits. I started this website to share my unique ideas, hoping to help other high school seniors who want their pictures to be a reflection of their individuality and uniqueness.

7 Signs Your Wisdom Teeth Need Extraction

Are your molars causing you pain and discomfort? Do you think maybe it's time to get them removed? If your answer to both questions is 'yes,' you are in the right place. Wisdom teeth are the last to emerge. In most cases, adult human beings tend to have four of them, two on the upper and lower jaws. They are called "wisdom" teeth because they emerge when one is older.

When is Wisdom Teeth Removal Surgery Necessary?

Sometimes wisdom teeth (molars) develop problems that don't have any other solution but extraction. The following signs tell you when you may need wisdom teeth removal:

1. Partially emerging wisdom teeth

If your wisdom teeth happen to grow only partially, you will encounter problems cleaning them properly. That, in turn, will encourage bacteria infestation and lead to numerous gum diseases and infections.

2. Hidden wisdom teeth

Sometimes your wisdom teeth may fail to emerge out of the gum and remain trapped or impacted within. This condition often causes cysts, infections, or jaw bone and teeth root damage. To avoid this, your dentist may recommend removal surgery.

3. Not enough growth room

When your molars lack enough space for growth, they tend to overcrowd and affect other neighboring teeth. And, at times, they become jammed and cause infections, pain, and discomfort. The best solution for this predicament is extraction.

4. Pain and sensitivity

The most obvious sign you need wisdom teeth removal is when they start causing extreme pain. You will often feel it when chewing food, brushing your teeth, or swallowing cold or hot liquids. And, with deterioration, you start experiencing random throbbing sensations without doing anything. If you have a similar issue, contact your dentist immediately.

5. Decay and cavities

Molars are located at the back of your mouth. Their position can result in poor cleaning and, as a result, facilitate the growth of bacteria in the gum pockets. That, in turn, increases the chances of developing cavities and tooth decay.

6. Foul breathe

If your wisdom teeth become impacted, cleaning the gum tissue surrounding them may be problematic. And, when you fail to clean properly for an extended period, food debris will cause infections and foul breath. That is also often accompanied by an unpleasant taste.

7. Cysts

If your molar problems don't get professional attention immediately, you will develop fluid-filled sacs known as dentigerous cysts in your mouth. Overgrown cysts cause sensitivity, swelling, and tooth displacement, so book an appointment with a dental surgeon as soon as you notice them.
