Unique Ideas for Senior Portraits

I was excited to have my senior portraits done. After all, these would pictures my mother would hang in her home for years to come and these pictures would help commemorate a huge accomplishment in my life. However, after meeting with a few photographers, my excitement faded. Many of the photographers offered up pictures and poses that have been repeated by other seniors over the past decade. I wanted something unique, and I was having a hard time finding it. After a lot of research, I finally came up with unique ideas for senior portraits. I started this website to share my unique ideas, hoping to help other high school seniors who want their pictures to be a reflection of their individuality and uniqueness.

The Best Green Carpet Cleaning Solutions

If you have pets, children or just want to make sure that you are able to keep your carpets clean, there are a lot of options that you can turn to. For the person wanting to avoid toxic solutions, you may not know where to turn. Thankfully, there are plenty of non-toxic ways to get rid of even the worst carpet stains. This allows you to keep your home free of possible contaminants, while also protecting the environment through green solutions.

But how does someone clean their carpet with green, eco-friendly methods? Read on to figure out some of the best remedies for even the most worrisome carpet stains.

#1: Use Rubbing Alcohol

In addition to cleaning cuts and scrapes, you can use rubbing alcohol to get rid of pesky carpet stains. More specifically, you should use a solution of 90 percent isopropyl alcohol, for best results. Add a measure of rubbing alcohol to a container of water, then use a rag or towel to spot treat the troublesome areas of your carpet.

#2: Use White Vinegar

The use of white vinegar is excellent when it comes to getting rid of pesky stains or odors with your carpet. This solution will allow you to not only mask the odors in your carpet, it'll get rid of them. Further, the properties found within the white vinegar can strip away even the worst colored stains. It will also work actively with baking soda in order to deep clean and treat areas that have long since been plagued with stains.

#3: Hydrogen Peroxide And Baking Soda

In order to deeply treat your biggest pet stains, you can use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. When mixed together in a spray bottle and applied liberally to the surface of the carpet, you can get rid of even the toughest urine stains. The peroxide, when mixed with baking soda, also gets rid of the odor left behind, so that no one would ever know the stain existed. By using a spray bottle to apply the mixture, you can also hit a larger surface area.

By using any of these three methods, you will be able to get rid of the stains in your carpet in a very non-toxic way. If you need something a bit more advanced, feel free to reach out to a licensed and insured carpet cleaning business such as McMaid in your area that specializes in green methods.
